Over the holiday I spent 2+ weeks in Buenos Aires and Patagonia – it was the perfect combination of city and adventure. BA is a place that has been on my list for a while now, and I’m so glad I was finally able to check it off. It’s much different (bigger!) than I imagined in my head. Some of my favorites moments include –
Our airbnb rental, the apartment and hosts were one of the best I’ve ever had. Exploring our neighborhood – Palermo Soho (I recommend staying in this hood! It’s full of cobblestone streets and character.) Riding bikes through the crazy, no-bike-lane streets. Sneaking into the Four Seasons pool. Drinking lots of malbecs while eating lots of steaks.
Touring ancient cemeteries and wandering into bookstores and wine shops. Brunch + nordic sandwiches (and too many spritz) from olsen. Dinner at casa felix ( a must!). Drinking at the secret bar underneath a flower shop. The most massive cheese plate paired with fernet and cokes at bar el federal. Getting French at oui oui. And BEST OF ALL sneaking into the pool at faena hotel on our last day; I will remember that day forever.
