The KK Cottage - A look inside the offices of Katie Kime

It has been a long road to here from a tiny warehouse in northeast Austin to our inspiring, bold and colorful headquarters. It has always been my dream to have a space where our team can create, collaborate, or frankly be alone if needed, and a place we can bring clients and other creatives to show the endless possibilities that exist in Katie Kime prints.  Our offices were recently featured on A Beautiful Mess, one of our favorite blogs, which was a dream come true in itself so we are excited to share the space with you.

As you enter through our signature coral colored door you find your eyes drawn to my first art installation at the cottage. We had a team of interns glueing on thousands of neon pink and chartruese tassels all the way up the wall. It makes a big statement and all of our visitors love the unique touch.

A living room with navy and whites is the perfect place to relax, have team meetings, or host a gathering. Complete it with a bar and you have the right mix of work and play.

The kitchen is our favorite spot. When you enter through the back door you are treated with all things happy. Bright bold yellow windows, cottage striped wallpaper on the ceilings and the cabinets are a cool grey. Pink chairs accent the white dining table.

Off the kitchen is my office and creative space. It is a cool pink with navy zebra peel & stick  wallpaper at the entrance. Our classic birdcage chair in oysters accents the space well and brings all of the colors together.

One of the reasons we decided on this space was that we wanted a room that we could bring designers and clients to and show them all of the possibliites that exist at Katie Kime and that you can be bold and it is wonderful.

The main offices are a bright white with black trim around the windows. This bright and airy look keeps the place warm and happy. The walls are covered with creative boards, inspiring words, and photographs of previous work. We wanted a fresh, creative, and inspiring place for the team to work.

Welcome to our offices. Thanks for having a look around.
