Scotland Bound

Today I leave for one of my favorite countries in all of the world, the enchanted land of Scotland. It’s mostly work, a little play, as I’ll be attending Cantle, (House of Cantle pictured above) a business development and leadership program that I am beyond excited about, before finishing out a couple of relaxing days in St. Andrews. My sister was married in a tiny chapel there with just her (now) husband and me! So I plan to drop in to reminisce and then mostly just enjoy the non-Texas summer weather and take in the landscape that long ago won me over. Here’s what I’m packing…

The weather will be perfectly cool and the property spans hundreds of acres so wellies, a Barbour jacket, and tartan are a must. For when “class” is in session I stocked up on Zara blazers and splurged for these amazing loafers. Frye canvas and leather boots, a lace number and my recent gift (bottom clutch) from the Fortunato twins should do for social hour.

I’m also packing the best notebooks ever, my sunnies, and my new favorite bars. Finally getting a chance to read Sandberg and see what all of the Hype is about and a recent magazine subscription gifted to me with the subtitle style and substance. Trish McEvoy #9 travel roll-on, a KK Rwanda Collection bag, and drum roll please the Canon 5d Mark II. HD video coming your way. The camera bag that will be its home is a recent Etsy find.
