Graphic Design Intern

The Katie Kime Graphic Design intern will be in charge of executing all necessary graphics for social media, KK Bright Living Blog, and Katie Kime Newsletter. Textile development will also play a major role in the position.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating Graphics for a variety of platforms that align with the Katie Kime brand
• Assist in the development of new patterns. Any where from drawing the pattern to printing and check the correct colors
• Will communicate with printers and other vendors to ensure that quality and brand integrity are maintained
• Assist in photography and image cutouts needed in order to promote the brand in a coherent way
• Regularly updating and ensuring the consistency and overall high quality of website design

 

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree. Preferably in Design or design related field
• Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. Especially important to have knowledge in Illustrator
• Knowledge of pattern creation and the revolving printing process of textiles
• Photography skills would be a bonus

 

Job information:

• Flexible work schedule
• Should be able to commit 10-15 hours per week. The possibility to work an occasional weekend would be a bonus
• Personal computer required
